Louder Than Words returns for 3rd year in Manchester

Louder Than Words looks at the relationship between music and the written word, and in the past has welcomed the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music's Mary Anne Hobbs.

What looks to be a highlight of this year's event is 'The DiscoText', which will focus on club culture writing. It'll feature our very own editor Duncan Dick amongst others, as the panel asks whether the scene is something that can, or should, be taught at university.

The festival also gives attendees the opportunity to see people up close who would normally be on stage in a much more intimate, social setting.
