Lotic has announced that his next release is coming through Janus on November 13.

'Agitations' will be released in mixtape format, like the Berlin-based producer's last drop on the label, 'Damsel In Distress'.

As the title suggests, it'll be a frenetic affair. In a statement that goes along with the announcement of the tape, Lotic said:

"Agitations was born out of the frustrations that come with touring, playing mainly festivals in Europe (which are largely populated by straight white men with narrow views on music), and feeling increasingly out of touch with club culture and with the music industry in general. Each track was crafted as a mechanism to cope with the conflicted position of becoming increasingly successful in an otherwise alienating (and often unsafe) environment. Agitations is the rebuilding and reclamation of confidence. It's a reminder of ambition, a reminder that there is great strength in having the outsider's perspective."

The cover has been designed by Kyselina, who has previously provided artwork for producers such as Rizzla and Rabit as well as for a number of other Janus projects.

'Agitations' marks the fourth outing for the Janus imprint, which is also famed for shaking up the Berlin scene with a string of boundary-pushing parties between 2012 - 2014.

Check out a 6-second teaser clip of the mix and artwork that Lotic uploaded to Instagram below.
