Brixton nightclub Plan B has closed.

But The Columbo Group, which owns East London clubs XOYO and The Nest, has bought the venue and will reopen it soon.

Columbo founder Steve Ball told Brixton Buzz that there are "exciting plans in the mix" and sources close to Mixmag say that the space will indeed go back to being a night club.

Not much more is known at the moment, but it's been confirmed that it will no longer be called Plan B.

Over the last year, Plan B's bookings included Calibre, Chez Damier, Theo Parrish, Lenzman, Session Victim and Marcus Intalex, with the likes of Innersoul, Simply Salacious, Samurai Music and Need2Soul throwing regular parties.
