Local Action enlists Dawn Richard for first release of 2016
‘Not Above That’ is out today
Local Action's first release of 2016, a single from Dawn Richard working under her D∆WN alias, is out today.
'Not About That' is the second single taken from her forthcoming album 'RED•emp•tion', which forms one instalment in an LP trilogy.
Machinedrum produced the track, providing a vigorous beat that swells effectively around Richard's impressive vocal.
Richard was formerly of group Danity Kane, which released two albums on P. Diddy's Bad Boy Entertainment in 2006 and 2008.
