Leeds venue The Space to undergo six-figure refurb to mark 25th birthday
The city centre venue has installed an upgraded soundsystem, an LED ceiling and more

Leeds nightclub The Space has shared details of a £250,000 renovation to celebrate its 25th birthday.
Located on Hirst's Yard, at the heart of Leeds' City Centre, The Space is celebrating two-and-a-half decades this year — with plans announced to unveil its brand new set-up with a launch party on Friday, April 4.

The six-figure renovation includes a new upgraded soundsystem, new décor - including a state-of-the-art LED ceiling on the dancefloor, two new VIP areas and more.
“To have been part of the Leeds nighttime scene and a destination for party goers and clubbers in Leeds and Yorkshire for 25 years is a huge achievement and one that we are all extremely proud of,” says founder Chris Edwards. "We want that legacy to continue with the very best events and parties, setting the standard for late night clubbing for another two decades.”

“We are investing heavily in refurbishing the club so that it offers the very best experience for all our loyal partygoers that fill the dancefloor week in and week out,” he continues. "We’d also love to see past clubbers that have loved partying at The Space over the years to come and let their hair down with us again.”
