Lacoste reissues three of its classic trainers for the Heritage Collection

Lacoste is reissuing three of its original models as part of the Heritage Collection.

The René is a tribute to René Lacoste's first tennis shoe in 1963, the G80 comes with the vintage Lacoste label on its tongue and the V-Ultra is kitted out with technology ensuring improved foot support.

With simple design, the René comes in four colourways: navy blue, green, red and white. The white vulcanised sole has a crocodile on the heel.

Originally released in 1987, the G80, described as "an essential tennis court classic", comes with an 'L' print all over the inner sole and 'hard court' marking on a tag referring to the preferred surface for the shoe. This one comes in navy blue, green, pink, white with red edging and plain white.

A fresh take on the original release from 2000, the V-Ultra has 'Lacoste' spelt out on the heel and has the embroidered croc logo on its side. Colors for this include white leather with green, navy blue or red details on the sole.

The Heritage Collection is priced from £65 to £115, with Oi Polloi stocking the G80 and René. The whole collection is available on the Lacoste website.
