Korg demonstrates Volca FM in new demo clips
Hear the synth in action below
We picked out Korg’s new Volca FM as one of eight stunning products to be unveiled at the NAMM showcase in January, impressed by the amount of functionality packed into the miniature machine.
Now full specifications for the synthesizer have been revealed.
All the hallmarks of a Volca such as chorus and arpeggiator are present in the new addition to the range, along with new features such as the Warp Active Step and Pattern Chain functions added to the 16-step sequencer which enable the creation of more powerful rhythm patterns.
It also has a sync connector which makes it possible to link separate Volca FM units and transfer data across from one to the other.
The price still to be announced, but expected to be around the £80 - £100 mark.
