Belfast rap trio Kneecap are set to perform a charity concert next month raising funds for humanitarian aid in Palestine, Gig For Gaza.

Kneecap are joined on the line-up by the likes of legendary rock band Primal Scream, Nottingham-hailing soul artist Liam Bailey, and former The Jam frontman Paul Weller, who curated the event.

Gig For Gaza is set to take place at Brixton’s O2 Academy on December 13, 2024, raising money for select Palestinian aid charities. All proceeds will go to Medical Aid For Palestine and Gaza Forever, who provide “vital aid, food, and medical supplies”.

“Paul has curated a night of powerful performances at the O2 Academy Brixton to raise funds and support for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza,” reads an Instagram post from Paul Weller.

The charity event will also feature artwork from Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja, who has pledged his support for Palestine in the past, saying that the band “have not performed and will not perform” in Israel until it “ends its brutal occupation of Palestine”.

“This is an opportunity to enjoy a night of powerful music, and make a tangible difference in the lives of people facing unimaginable hardship. Every ticket and donation counts,” Gig For Gaza said.

The concert is also set to include guest speakers and short films, NME reports. Gig For Gaza will announce more artists in the lead up to the event next month.

Pre-sale tickets will become available on Wednesday, November 13, at 9:AM. General sale will go live on Friday, November 15. Find out more about Gig For Gaza below.
