Standing out like the veiny thigh of a thoroughbred horse, this track takes Klute's 'Savage Circle' EP to another place. After something of a middle-order eyes-down stomper on opener 'Westernised', some introspective rumblings on meditative 'Just What You're Feeling' and ambient interlude 'Arboretum', 'Mirror' ratchets up the viciousness with a full two-minute intro before a full-throttle stepping powerhouse of techy jungle muscularity takes hold. If you like Enei's robo-stepping power but served with a little more texture, get some of this. Klute at his monstrous, breakneck best.
