Kitsta announces new label, shares trance-inspired EP
"This will be a home for all my trance-tinged megabangers that I’ve been wanting to release out into the wild for some time"
Kitsta has announced her new label, Megababes.
Self-described as a home for her "trance-tinged megabangers", the accompanying 'Get Ready' EP to the imprint announcement embodies the sound of Megababes with titular track 'Get Ready' and 'Miss Bliss'.
Opener 'Get Ready' preps the listener to dive into the EP, kicking off with stuttering vocals, rolling drums and sirens before delving into a retro-fuelled vocal-plus-breakdown, hitting its crescendo with a dancefloor-primed drop.

Equally pumping, follow-up 'Miss Bliss' boasts a chugging bassline interwoven with synths and dreamlike melodies for an afters-ready cut.
"I wanted to create a cute trance world to release my own tunes, my way," Kitsta explains. "I'm excited to see how this is going to grow and hopefully will get some other megababes involved along the way!"
Whilst 'Get Ready' EP marks the Yorkshire born, now London-based artist's debut on her label, Kitsta is becoming increasingly lauded for her dark, yet glittering euphoric sound. Her releases have already found homes on Fly By Night Recordings and Gimme A Break.
