The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Thursday, we welcomed Kill The Noise, Boombox Cartel, Tommy Trash, Valentino Khan, Madsonik and more for a special takeover.

Jake Stanczak, known by most as Kill The Noise, arrives in Los Angeles by way of New York. Jake first found success under the moniker Ewun before switching over to KTN in 2008 with his appropriately titled album 'Kill Kill Kill'. Following his switch over, Kill The Noise unleashed a series of notable remixes and worked with the likes of Feed Me and Skrillex, important early progressions in his career that see him now as a staple artist and persona on the omnipresent OWSLA imprint. Listen to Kill The Noise's new remix LP below and grab a copy here.

On opening duties we had LA-based artist Team EZY. Listen to his music here.

The Lab LA is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Subscribe to Mixmag TV and watch Kill The Noise and Friends in The Lab LA below on Thursday 8pm PST.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
