Kelly Lee Owens shares details of forthcoming album, ‘Dreamstate’
Her techno-focused fourth studio album is set to land this October
Welsh singer and producer Kelly Lee Owens has shared details of her forthcoming album due to land this October on dh2, ‘Dreamstate’.
The next record, which marks her fourth album so far, is due to arrive on October 18 spanning hard techno and emotional pop across 10 tracks.
The first track from the album, titled ‘Love You Got’, is out now alongside a new music video directed by Samuel Bradley. Check it out below.
“‘Love You Got’ was born out of the curiosity of discovering my own inner euphoria,” she says on the new track. “Balancing the dark and the light within myself to find ultimate bliss in connection with others.”

The new track pairs dark techno with emotive pop melodies and buoyant synths, hinting at a new sonic direction for the Welsh-born artist.
The album lands on the brand new dance music imprint from Dirty Hit, named dh2, led by The 1975’s drummer George Daniel who’s credited as a producer on the new record.
Other collaborators on the record include producer-writer credits from Andrew Ferguson & Matthew McBriar, as well as Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers. Ahead of the album’s launch, Kelly Lee Owens performed unreleased tracks at a recent appearance at Glastonbury and is set to do the same at shows across the world.
