Kaytranada drops the visuals for 'Lite Spots'

Kaytranada drops the visuals for 'Lite Spots'

Kaytranada released his debut album '99.9%' last Friday and now he's shared the video for 'Lite Spots'.

The video is centred around the life of a cavorting Honda Asimo-esque robot that is built by the Haitian-born Canadian producer.

Directed by Martin C. Pariseau, the video shows Kaytranada expertly welding together a motherboard that springs the dancing robot into life. The robot, which looks like a futuristic kitchen appliance, sees Kaytranada as an almost parental figure and copies every body-pop he does.

Kaytranada nurtures the robot and even teaches it how to play basketball before it starts to copy other peoples dance moves.
