Kate Bush has announced the reissue of her full back catalogue as physical releases, alongside additional redesigns of classic records.

The reissues will become available to order from December 1 in an “unlimited run”, according to Bush’s record label, FISH PEOPLE.

Alongside the collection of reissues, records including 1985’s ‘Hounds Of Love’ will receive two new redesigns across three reissued copies, also featuring remastered audio. The first copy uses the original artwork and a purple-tinted record, each individually coloured.

The ‘Baskerville Edition’ features newly illustrated artwork with a solar-powered LED light, while ‘The Boxes of Lost at Sea’ comes accompanied with two boxes with individual battery-powered LED lights. A donation will be made from each sale to War Child.

“The idea was to create a hybrid of an album and a piece of artwork you could hang on the wall,” Bush says on the redesigns. “They’re based on something I designed for an auction for the charity War Child.”

Other studio albums due to for reissue include her debut, ‘The Kick Inside’, as well as ‘Never for Ever’, ‘The Dreaming’, and ‘The Red Shoes’.

"It's been great fun putting together these new versions, including the coloured vinyl for independent record stores,” says Bush. “A great deal of care and thought has gone into them.”

“There’s a special emotional connection that happens between the possessor of an album, the music and the artwork, when it exists in the real world. It’s something we can treasure in a unique way.”

The reissue announcement comes just ahead of Kate Bush’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which takes place tomorrow, November 3.
