Julia Govor embarks on a tour of Australia and China in December
Including an extended eight hour set
NYC-based DJ and producer Julia Govor has announced key dates in December, heading out to Australia for a string of gigs while also debuting in China.
Since emerging as a force in underground techno, Govor has dropped a series of acclaimed releases on labels like akkult, BP Mind Series, Pan-Pot’s Second State imprint and most recently on Rhythm Cult. By focusing on a minimal yet intricate approach, she's been able to showcase gripping and hypnotic techno soundscapes, which are on full display in her DJ sets.
This December she’ll make her return to Australia, first at Subsonic Music Festival on December 2 alongside Ostgut Ton’s Boris, Berghain hero Ryan Elliott and Mr G. Then Govor makes her way to Sydney for an intimate set at the Burdekin Hotel on December 8 before heading to XE54 for an extended eight hour set on December 10.
Wrapping up the tour Govor will finally have her first appearances in China on December 15 and 16, in Shanghai and Hangzhou respectively.
