Juicy Romance announces new EP, shares lead single 'Run My Mouth'

Juicy Romance has announced her sophomore EP 'Scandalizer', set for release on October 27.

Housed on her own label Kiss & Tell, which launched earlier this year, lead single 'Run My Mouth' is available now. The cut - much like the rest of the EP - is unapologetically promiscuous, packed with playful juxtapositions.

Sitting at 140bpm from beginning to end, 'Scandalizer' embodies what dancefloors have learned to be known as the archetypal Juicy Romance sound. It blends sprinklings of hedonistic vocals with hefty drumbeats, self-described by the Australian as "...sexy, it’s cheeky, it's audacious and it speaks about a few of my favourite extracurriculars…

"As someone who prefers strobe lights to daylight, and champagne to water, I wanted to create music that belongs in the club, but transcends physical space to convey the feeling of party euphoria and hedonism; whether you’re listening to it in the backseat of your mum's car, or at the main stage of Coachella," she adds. "It’s music for the girls, gays, theys and the boys who like to play.”

Following her debut EP 'Amorous' - which consisted of three sub heavy, fast and hard club cuts - 'Scandalizer' represents a coming to terms with Juicy's self-possession as an artist.

The tracks encompass moments of empowerment, guilty pleasures and wistful thinking. Articulated through pulsating basslines, sultry vocals and pummelling beats, it encourages casual listeners and club dancers a like to "indulge in their boldest selves, to dream big and dream hard".

'Run My Mouth', the lead single from Juicy Romance's forthcoming EP 'Scandalizer', is available now. Check it out here.
