Joutro Mundo last released on Midnight Riot six months ago with his seven-track 'Lost In Rio' EP. He's back with 'Atlantis', a charming slice of funky nu-disco. A straight-forward 4/4 drum pattern with an 80s tinge and a smooth low end, thrown into the mix are also delayed guitar licks and big sweeping synths that follow the piano power chords.
The vocals are whispered and reverbed to provide some more atmosphere. In true Midnight Riot style the track is ridiculously playful but also soulful, perfect for Cadillac cruising – top down, naturally. Keep this in the bag for those summer boat parties.
