Ever an innovator, Joris Vorn seems determined to prove his one-step-ahead credentials on the new Fabric CD.

He's put together the 83rd instalment of Fabric, the mix series released by the London club of the same name.

However, this one isn't just your average DJ session: at some points, Voorn mixes up to seven tracks at one time.

The Dutchman has made the whole thing in Ableton, allowing him to subtly edit numerous tracks so they sound slick as a whole.

Voorn said: "The creative freedom I have when working in Ableton allows me to edit, mix and remix tracks in ways you can't do with turntables or CD players. Tracks are often used as building blocks in the form of loops and samples in order to create something completely new. Tracks are usually stripped down or minimal-sounding to allow for layering and mixing with other tracks. The result is a mix that is more than the sum of its parts."

65 tunes are used in total and condensed into a 20 'track' setlist, which you can see below. The CD is out on August 21 with a launch party at the club on the 22nd.
