The Lab USA is BULLDOG Gin and Mixmag's weekly live stream and post-work unwind, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our offices in LA and NYC. On Saturday April 25, we're switching things up with a very special Home Session from John Digweed in his Bunker.
It's really saying something if you're still a world-touring artist 30 years after you started. Obvious restrictions have put John Digweed's upcoming shows on hold, but over the last 12 months he's played across North America, the Middle East, India and Europe, including a regular slot at Resistance at Privilege Ibiza.
In a mammoth career the Bedrock founder's made history, notably with 'Renaissance: The Mix Collection' - along with Sasha - in which many describe as the first CD of its kind. That knack for infectious mixes, championing the progressive house sound, runs true on his Bedrock series, 'Mixmag Live! Vol.8' along with Gordon Kaye in 1996 and the recent 'Quattro' release.
'Quattro', split into four sections - Soundscape, Tempo, Redux and Juxtaposition - features the likes of Bedrock partner Nick Muir, long-time collaborator Sasha, Francesca Lombardo and Marc Romboy and is a calming ride through prog house, breaks, ambient and more.
Expect a mood just like 'Quattro', which can be bought here, as John Digweed steps up from inside the comfort of his home, to give you just what you need from yours.
Tune in on our Facebook page from 11pm BST / 6pm EST / 3pm PDT on Saturday April 25.
