Jay Daniel teases new album ‘Broken Knowz’
It's out November 25 on Technicolour
Detroit producer Jay Daniel has announced the release of his debut album ‘Broken Knowz’, forthcoming on Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint.
Lead single 'Knowledge Of Selfie' was premiered by Benji B's BBC Radio 1 show last week and the LP was recorded in Jay's mother’s basement using a multitrack mixer to create a “more live, more natural, and more human sound”.
Daniel has had previous success with his ‘Scorpio Rising’ EP on Theo Parrish's Sound Signature Records and ‘Karmatic Equations’ on Kyle Hall's Wild Oats Music. He also founded his own label, Watusi High in 2015 and released his ‘School Dance’ EP.
