Jamiroquai release first single 'Cloud 9' from forthcoming album
Their eighth album 'Automaton' will be released on March 31
'Cloud 9' is the first single to be released from Jamiroquai's new album, 'Automaton'.
The track carries that familiar funk swing the band has championed throughout their career, with frontman Jay Kay commenting it'll resonate with those who've had their heartbroken.
"Cloud 9 is a song that's written in the style that I hope people know us for and are familiar with. It's a song that if anyone that has been jilted and yet found love somewhere else will no doubt relate to. Can't wait for you to hear it - get in the car stick it on the radio and just drive."
'Automaton', out on March 31, was first teased on January 17, with the formal announcement coming on January 27. Along with the album announcement, the band also shared a list of live and festival dates.
