Jackmaster has been awarded a Tennent’s Golden Can for contributions to Scottish culture

The brewery announced in January that it would start awarding Golden Cans to prominent Scots who had contributed in some way to Scottish life and culture.

Those lucky enough to receive the coveted can are immortalised in the Golden Can Hall of Fame at Tennent's Glasgow Brewery.

Jackmaster was born and raised in Glasgow and is the latest Scot to receive the award. He spent much of his early life digging for records in Glasgow’s Rubadub. Now, he's one of Scotland's most respected selectors.
