Ivy Lab have confirmed the release of their long-awaited debut album

London duo Ivy Lab have announced the long-awaited arrival of their “debut album proper” ‘Death Don’t Always Taste Good’, landing on the pair’s own imprint 20/20 LDN on May 11.

The new album will be the first time fans and followers will hear how the outfit’s sound has shifted since pivoting from a trio to a duo. Still working on the outer-edges of bass and hip hop experimentation, current members Stray and Sabre continue on in the Ivy Lab mission to create woozy, futuristic halftime fused with hard-hitting drum work.

To accompany the release, an intricate fine art poster series has been created in collaboration with artist Megan Dixon. The artwork will be seen on two single releases from the project, alongside the LP itself.

‘Death Don’t Always Taste Good’ is out May 11 on 20/20 LDN. Watch the video for first teaser single ‘Cake’ below.
