It’s The Ship, Asia’s largest festival at sea and one of our five fave events on the continent, has announced details for its 2016 edition.

The cruise sets sail on November 4 from Singapore and travels to Penang on the coast of Malaysia, before docking back in at Singapore on November 7.

Knife Party headline the four-day long party at sea, with further acts set to play including Dada Life, Andrew Rayel, Peking Duk, Far East Movement, Sander van Doorn. David Hasselhoff will be on board as the ship’s captain.

Themed nights featuring international promoters will take place over the course of the festival.

Get Lucky will provide deep house and Melbourne bounce with Mashd N Kutcher, Lucille Croft, Kate Foxx and more on the opening night, before Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano host their world-famous Sexy By Nature EDM party on November 5 with Watermat and Frank Rizardo on the bill.

Legendary trance party Armada and underground hip-hop event Raising The Ship take place on November 6, with MaRLo, Ben Gold, Kayla and Young Queenz among the acts performing.

It’s The Ship has also partnered with Scoot to offer a global sale on flights and cabins from now until August 31. Reduced fares of between 15 to 25 per cent to Singapore are available from China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and Australia in the travelling period of October 27 to November 4.
