When The Hacker & Gesaffelstein come together, their DJ sets are always a fire-breathing amalgamation of the pair’s sound. Hellish electro and techno that encompasses the sounds old and new are merged so when Mike Levy and Michel Amato started their own record label, you knew what was coming. ZONE was formed in 2009 and Gesaffelstein released the first EP entitled ‘The Operator’. Since then the label has been more about showcasing new artists as opposed to its dark leader. EPs from Maelstrom, Glass Figure, Jon Convex, Mikron and the legend David Carretta have all slammed and seduced, perfectly capturing an electro sound that’s not commonly heard anymore.
