Is this the most desperate remix clearance plea ever?
DJ places an ad in LA Times so Madonna can approve his remix
You're a DJ, you've remixed a tune by one of the biggest pop stars in the world and you want them to see it. What do you do? Post an ad in a newspaper, that's what.
An 18-year-old fella called Nick Deboni has done exactly that in regards to his take on Madonna's 'Devil Pray', putting a plea for the Diplo collaborator to approve his remix in the Los Angeles Times.
You've gotta admire his confidence and, with a swoony press shot like that, even the 'Like A Virgin' star might find it hard to reject his #ApproveMadonna request.
Bearing in mind his ad's doing the rounds on the internet now and his 68,000 likes on Facebook, he's in a decent position for it to come to her attention.
Desperate? Yeah. Top marks for effort, though. Let's just hope she's a newspaper reader, eh.
