Is Stones Throw Records the Label Of The Decade? Vote now
Peanut Butter Wolf launched Stones Throw in 1996 and it’s become a hub for experimental, at times strange, hip hop beats. Quasimoto’s ‘Come On Feet’ is an example of that and it’s also home to records by Jaylib (J Dilla and Madlib) and Madvillain (Madlib and MF Doom). Based in Los Angeles, some of its most recent releases in the last few years include albums by Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge’s NxWorries project and Dam-Funk.
