Daniel Miller began Mute Records in 1978 in the UK. Now with offices in New York and Berlin, this international record label houses a collection of hybrid electro sounds. In it’s early days the imprint signed acts such as FAD Gadget and electro-punk band D.A.F. It is now home to Boys Noize, Moderat and world-renowned techno DJ Richie Hawtin.
