Owned by Warner Music, Big Beat Records was founded in the late 80s in NYC by Craig Kallman as an indie record before being brought in by Atlantic Records. The label originated in house music roots and eventually returned to the dance music space in 2010 with Skrillex, Chromeo, Knife Party, Martin Solveig, Galantis and more.
