IMS Ibiza 2016 presents its schedule with a gender and diversity panel
Other topics include Space Ibiza and streaming
International Music Summit's flagship Ibiza edition is about to embark on its ninth edition, starting on May 25 and running until May 27.
Ahead of the industry congregation on the White Isle, IMS Ibiza has unveiled its comprehensive three-day itinerary for the conference. As usual, the summit aims to tackle controversial and important topics relevant to the electronic music industry over the past year and moving into the next.
In 2016, IMS leads with its Diversity In Electronic Music: A Vote For Vertical Proliferation panel, a discussion between accomplished women of the music industry on the ever-important conversation about females in the electronic and wider music business. The panel sees Nicole Moudaber, B.Traits, Senior Agent at CAA, Maria May, and other industry leaders together.
In addition, other topics to be covered at IMS Ibiza include Space Ibiza (which sees Carl Cox and founder of Space Pepe Roselló come together), a market focus on France following the tragic terrorist attacks late last year, The Great Streaming Debate, a look at Millennial marketing and many, many more.
Mixmag is proud to present New Breed, a panel which highlights newcomer artists that are on the verge of breaking it big: Danny Daze, Danny Howard, Kölsch and Francesca Lombardo, moderated by our own Nick DeCosemo.
IMS Ibiza's schedule also highlights the evening events paired with each day of the summit including the honorary Legends Dinner where Pepe Roselló will be presented the award, the live showcase Back2Live and the anticipated Dalt Vila event with Dubfire, Tale Of Us, Nicole Moudaber and more.
