IMOGEN debuts on Steel City Dance Discs with 'Albert Road EP'

IMOGEN has made her debut on renowned label Steel City Dance Discs, 'Albert Road'.

The EP follows on from her recent record, 'What?', and features a fusion of searing basslines with otherworldly soundscapes. Think acid tinges, four-to-the floor beats, pulsing synths and distorted vocals.

Experimentation is rife throughout the record, with soundsystem-bruising cuts from beginning to end, kicking off with fierce breakbeat track 'In Bed With My 808'.

Closing the record is 'true-blue', featuring a remix from Radioactive Man, which is of particular prominence for the IMOGEN.

"I am super excited for my first release on Steel City and Radioactive has done a sick job of the remix," the DJ, producer and Wigs owner - Wigs being a party, label and community which prioritises equality and rave-ready, forward thinking club music - tells Mixmag. "He was was one of my biggest influences when I first started producing, so it feels mega to have him feature on the EP with me."
