44 people fined after attending rave in disused bank vault

44 people have been fined for attending a rave in a disused bank vault.

Police busted the party in Southall, West London last Sunday morning after hearing music coming from an abandoned building.

Cops found a rave in full swing at around 9am, complete with a firing soundsystem and lighting.

The revellers are now facing a fixed penalty notice of up to £800 and officers are looking for the organisers of the rave, who could face a fine of £10,000, Metro reports.

Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Bowen, said: "It is disappointing some selfish people still insist on breaking Covid regulations.

"We will continue to do our part in shutting illegal events like this down and taking action where necessary."
