III Points announces the festival’s first ever compilation

A spotlight on the submerged music scene in Miami

III Points Festival has announced its first ever compilation with the first track being a collaboration between Nick León and POORGRRRL titled ‘Bored Games’.

Nick and POORGRRRL (real name Tara Long) linked up at 10k Islands in Little Haiti for a studio session, combining their talents with Tara as a raw lyricist and Nick as a psychedelic producer. To produce the new material, III Points supplied the artists with "a bag of weed, a box of pizza and total creative freedom."

The low-slung hip hop track takes a tripped out turn when Tara's poetic verse kicks in and Nick delivers a distinct melody that is both intricate and original. ‘Bored Games’ offers up an ideal introduction to the compilation while we prepare for three more unique tunes to follow.

Representing Miami’s underground music culture, the four-track compilation focuses on showcasing local artists who will be performing at the upcoming III Points festival October 7-9.

Listen to 'Bored Games' below and look out for the rest of the compilation with tunes from Twelve'len x Twelve Tales, Austin Paul x SNDNGCHLLZ x Byrdipop and Deaf Poets x Virgo coming soon.
