The Lab is our weekly office rave up powered by Void Acoustics where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music from genres across the board. This week we welcome back the sound of d'n'b to celebrate Shogun audio reaching 10 years in the game.
For the last decade Shogun Audio has championed the most forward thinking drum &bass music from all over the world. Headed up by BBC Radio 1's Friction and long time business partner and producer K-Tee, Shogun has become one of the most exciting imprints in modern day bass music, releasing quality music from the likes of: Alix Perez, Rockwell, Technimatic and loads more.
Shogun's man of the moment Icicle takes control of the Lab for the second time and comes fresh off the back of releasing his latest LP, Mixmag's current d'n'b album of the month titled 'Entropy.' One of the most talented and original producers in the scene, he's built up a reputation through developing a truly unique sci-fi/tech-funk sound that's gained serious recognition.
