Somebody is selling Ibiza air in a can

Get a whiff of "pure virgin air" for €5.90

Can't afford the trip to Ibiza this summer? Buy the next best thing. Italian ice cream seller Gianluca Pomo has started to sell cans of the White Isle’s air, calling it Aire de Ibiza.

The fresh idea came to the vender and his business partner José Antonio Fernández when they realised how fortunate they were to inhale all the goodness swirling around the party paradise. The result? Giving others the chance to pocket their own whiff of the Balearic island.

For those wondering whether the canned air is free, Pomo says it’s not, as he’s selling the luxury for €5.90 a pop (we presume this covers his travel cost as he searches the island for the finest smelling spots).

Ridiculous, yeah. But at least it's a bit of light-hearted Ibiza news compared to everything that went down last week.
