Huxley
Aus Music open their 2016 account with some power from Hux
The output of Will Saul's Aus Music has always been hefty and last year the label excelled with a series of high profile releases from some of the best house producers in the UK.
We premiered cuts from Breach, Sei A and Huxley, who makes his triumphant return to the label this month. Big Hux has always supplied us with no-holds-barred club music but his latest EP may well be his most rounded to date.
Three-tracker 'Widow' explores several strains of Huxley's production set and the lead track is an absolute thumper. You're lulled into a false sense of security with a serene intro and delicate percussion before dark, dwarfing bass tones hit hard after a minute and a half.
We can see this one going down in the rave and we've got the full premiere. A fantastic start to the year for Aus and Hux.
The 'Widow' EP will be released on January 29 via Aus Music
