Spotify playlist: 50 workout tracks that hop from disco to techno

Here at Mixmag, we aim to keep you loaded with playlists as regularly as possible.

I's time for a weekly addition to our Spotify ranks with a new selection called 'The Workout'.

Curated by our in-house fitness fanatic and US Digital Content Editor, carefully picked through trial during her daily training sessions.

The past few week's selectors have been straight, hard, bumping underground powerhouses, with previous additions coming from Kreon, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Illario Alicante.

Perhaps it's because Mixmag is still buzzing from last Thursday's I Feel Love 40 party or the fact that Motor City Drum Ensemble and Derrick Carter absolutely ravaged the dance floor at Panorama Festival. Either way, this week's 'The Workout' cuts are to feed the soul, surge energy into your veins with a groove that makes you jump and scream.

With a warming marinade the collection of 10 starts with Akkord's 'XMTR' before diving into a tribal, lightly funked piece by Hadi Zeidan. The tracklist continues with era-inspired belters from Lindstrøm, Kornél Kovács and Marquis Hawkes before going full-on splits under the disco ball with Chicago's 'Street Player'.

Check out the full 'The Workout' Playlist below.
