Historic Barcelona nightclub La Paloma has reopened

The grand baroque-style venue is Europe's oldest club

Historic Barcelona nightclub La Paloma has reopened

Barcelona venue La Paloma, Europe’s oldest nightclub, has reopened.

The historic venue, which first opened in 1903 and is known for its grand ballroom features that combine baroque and Catalan artistry.

It was forced to close in 2007, but has been undergoing a phased reopening through 2024, and is now fully back in operation with a stacked line-up of club shows announced.

So far in September, the likes of Fantastic Man and Danilo Plessow have played the 1,000 capacity nightspot, while shows this weekend feature Machinedrum playing live on Friday and Antal headlining on Saturday.

In October, the likes of Luke Una, Egyptian Lover and Weval will step up, while a busy November sees legends such as Theo Parrish and Nightmares On Max playing the venue, with the likes of Toy Tonics, Hot Chip DJs, Jokkoo Collective and Bradley Zero, who will play all night long, also passing through.

Revellers at the venue are able to traverse levels and explore the dancefloor and balcony above, fully taking in the atmosphere and sights of the red and gold detailed building

The club offers booth seating at both dancefloor level and on the balcony, allowing guests to take in the atmosphere from multiple vantage points.
