Mark Goodings, one half of drum 'n' bass duo Hidden Agenda, has died.

His cause of death is unknown, but Goldie wrote on Facebook that he passed away late last night and that his label Metalheadz would be paying tribute in the near future.

"It comes with great sadness that I share with you the news of Mark Goodings of Hidden Agenda's passing at 11:30pm last night. He was with close family and friends when it happened. I have a new respect for what it means to brave after Mark's decision to pass to the next life.

"Hidden Agenda's legacy to UK underground music really cannot be underestimated. We will be announcing a gathering to celebrate Mark's life and legacy soon. Headz family forever."

Mark and his brother Jason's first run of Metalheadz releases came in 1995 with 'Pressin' On'/'Get Carter', 'Is It Love?' and 'Swing Time'/'The Wedge'. They then appeared twice on Fabio's Creative Source label, released a 12" on Reinforced Records in 1998, before their last 'headz release, 'Far Out'/'Stay', came out in 2003. They also released an album, 'Whatever Happened To.......', on Straight Ahead in 2000.

Lenzman, Fabio, Doc Scott, Lee Gamble and DJ Marky are among those to pay tribute.
