Ibiza's newest super-club Hï Ibiza has just announced its partnership with Dance For 1 Meter, the largest conservation initiative in the electronic music industry, which works to combat global deforestation.

Currently, rainforest land the size of Ibiza is destroyed every two days. With deforestation creating more carbon emissions than any other industry and 70 per cent of all cancer eliminating medicinal derivates coming from the rainforest, it is an imperative issue to address.

With Hï Ibiza's new venture, each guest will be given the opportunity to save 1 square mile of rainforest when purchasing tickets to its events online. The program will also allow fans to view the coordinates of their conserved rainforest area using satellite and Google Earth technology.
