Henrik Schwarz, Mr Scruff & Fort Romeau remix classical music on 'Reworks'
The album fuses classical compositions with electronic productions and is out in July
On July 15 Decca is dropping its ‘Reworks’ compilation - an album from today’s leading electronic producers remixing classical compositions.
The album includes tracks from the likes of Henrik Schwarz, Solomon Grey, Fort Romeau, Patrice Bamuel, Kate Simko, Mr Scruff and Starkey who have remixed classical composers Satie, Bach, Rachmaninov, Beethoven and Reich.
‘Reworks’ aligns classical music with electronic production and sees traditional orchestral tracks be re-imagined through the contemporary vision of house and techno.
The album is out July 15 on Decca. You can listen to ‘Reworks EP 1’ featuring Starkey, Kate Simko and Martin Buttrich here.
