Groove Cruise announces set times and onboard activities

Floating festival Groove Cruise has announced the schedule for its artist-led activities.

It's a few days before the Celebrity Infinity leaves Miami for a four day trip around the Caribbean (during Jan 10-14) and it's been revealed that revellers can take part in activities including a talent show with Markus Schulz, a mixology class with Roger Sanchez, playing Xbox with MK, casino slots with Eli and Fur and (naturally) a beer pong tournament with Leftwing and Kody.

That’s in addition to the planned theme parties, more than 50 DJs, and 96 hours of non-stop dance music for the 15th edition of the cruise.

The cruise prides itself on having no VIP area – the DJs and crowd are quite literally all in the same boat – and DJ EDX, a seven time GC veteran, says that’s what makes it such a “special experience - you get to meet your fans so close and to spend time on a cruise together is definitely something very special.”

Headliner Kaskade reckons “any chance to play music for the audience I love is really exciting for me” (no news yet on whether he will be calling the bingo), MK says he “always loves doing Groove Cruise, the energy and love from the crowd on the boat is always on, all of the time." while Whet Travel founder Jason Beukema describes the cruise as “really crazy but safe escape from reality for a few days”.
