Gorillaz's Damon Albarn has 40 unheard songs that didn't make it on 'Humanz'
He's got plenty of unheard material to come
Gorillaz's highly anticipated new album 'Humanz' is due out on April 28 and ahead of the release, Zane Lowe will be unveiling the group's collaboration called 'Let Me Out' with Pusha T and Mavis Staples tomorrow.
Ahead of the interview, Lowe has shared a brief interview clip with Damon Albarn of Gorillaz, where he's revealed an exciting future beyond the release of 'Humanz'.
"I’m just sort of slowly going through all tunes that sort of didn’t work out and finishing them," he says, excitedly before revealing one includes a Little Simz collaboration. "I can certainly keep going for another 18 months."
He estimates that there are still about 40-45 tunes didn't make it on the album and fall into his unfinished category, giving Gorillaz fans hope that new material will remain consistent even following to release of 'Humanz'.
