Gorillaz confirm album completion, begin rehearsing for a new live show
More hype from the animated band
Completion of the highly-anticipated album from Gorillaz has finally been confirmed and the band are hard at work rehearsing a new live show.
Thanks to Jack Winstanley (@_JackWinstanley), an eager fan who linked up Damon Albarn outside his workplace, the band’s frontman apparently told him the album is “finished” and they are beginning to prepare for a tour.
No official release date or title has been announced at this time, but Gorillaz shared their first single from the album, ‘Hallelujah Money’, back in January.
View Jack’s tweets below and look for more news on the Gorillaz album coming soon.
