The Lab LA is Mixmag and WAV's weekly live stream and post-work unwind, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our Los Angeles office. This Thursday, January 31, Detroit duo Golf Clap bring their infectious energy to The Lab LA.

Since teaming up in 2013, Bryan Jones and Hugh Cleal of Golf Clap have honed an exceptional ability to deliver dancefloor bumping DJ sets. United by a shared passion for house, they've quickly garnered a cult-like following through original productions and their record label Country Club Disco. With roots in both Chicago and Detroit, the duo "feeds off each other" and constantly conjure up hot-and-heavy club sets that get the crowd moving. Their recent EPs on imprints like Relief Records and This Ain't Bristol show off the duo's current all-nighter attitude and club-ready focus. With an air of compelling confidence and clubland familiarity, Golf Clap's dancefloor mantra states: “rhythm makes people dance, melody makes people remember and Golf Clap aims to keep you coming back for more."
