Goldie, Richie Hawtin and more star in TR-808 documentary

Roland's TR-808 is being celebrated in a new documentary and the trailer is now available.
Available on Apple Music on December 9, the film features the likes of Goldie, Pharrell Williams and Felix Da Housecat discussing the influence and legacy of the drum machine.
Afrika Bambaataa & the Soul Sonic Force's 'Planet Rock', one of the most famous tracks to have utilised the revered Roland instrument, soundtracks the trailer.
Rick Rubin explains "the rhythm of an 808 has its own internal groove", with future cover star Richie Hawtin saying "any record that's made with a real 808 has a certain feel that you just can't reproduce."
