DJ Fresh has released a remix EP of his tune ‘Gold Dust’ to celebrate ten years in circulation.

The pack includes existing remixes from Skepsis, Fox Stevenson and Bou & Used, joined by further editions from Marten Hørger, Krafty Kuts and Dutty Moonshine.

Adding fresh flavours via breaks, UK bass, jumping bass-house elements and drum ‘n’ bass, each remix brings something different to the EP.

On the release, DJ Fresh says: “'Hot Right Now' was the first UK drum ‘n’ bass number one, but it was 'Gold Dust' that set the stage for it to happen. Even though we had mostly just grassroots support at the start it went on to become my biggest selling single and probably my best known track.

“It changed my life and the lives of all the drum ‘n’ bass soldiers who worked so hard for so long for the recognition that 'Gold Dust' finally won. This remix EP is a celebration for me, and for drum ‘n’ bass!”

Alongside Gold Dust, Fresh has produced tunes such as ‘Gravity’ and ‘Louder’ - and, whilst being celebrated in the mainstream, DJ Fresh emphasises his maintenance of his ear and love for the harder hitting, grittier side of drum ‘n’ bass.
