Slow Town bring forward a beautiful slab of washed-out house
It goes without saying that Detroit's musical heritage is bursting with some of the world's most lauded artists. One artist who's been at the centre of the scene for decades is Gari Romalis.
Romalis has been DJing for over 30 years and has released on respected imprints like Tresor, Dockside, Housewax and Terrence Parker's Intangible label.
His latest 12" comes via Slow Town Records and the French label founded in 2012 has already built up a reputation as fine purveyors of deep, soulful house. Romalis' release is another stellar record and we've nabbed a free download for you.
All three of the tracks hit that smooth, sweet spot and of all the cuts, 'Reach' is really pushing our buttons. The dusty percussion combined with soothing yet melancholic synths is pretty damn glorious so grab this now and let yourself be transported through a Detroit dream.
