Fred Peterkin, aka Fred P, has just dropped a short film, along with the release of his seventh studio album ‘Escapism’, which came out today on his Soul People Music label, under his Captain P moniker.

Peterkin edited and narrated the film – ‘The Incredible Adventures of Captain P: Escapism’ – a 23-minute clip which shows the US producer in different cities around the world and features tour footage and his own poetic monologues.

The video opens by defining ‘escapism’ as: “A habitual diversion of the mind to purely imaginative activity or entertainment as an escape from reality or routine”, echoing the album’s dreamy, personal style.

You can watch the short film below and check out the album here.
