Four Tet, Skrillex and Fred again.. to close out Coachella's second weekend
The trio revealed that they’ll take over after Frank Ocean dropped out of his headline slot earlier this week
Fred again.., Four Tet, and Skrillex have revealed that they’ll take over the closing slot of Coachella’s main stage this coming Sunday.
The announcement follows a drop out from Frank Ocean who headlined weekend one and was slated to return this weekend, but pulled out earlier this week citing a leg injury.
Fred again.. posted cryptic messages last night teasing the announcement, later revealing alongside Skrillex and Four Tet that the trio will perform after Blink 182’s headline slot on Sunday at 10:25PM.

The line-up previously showed a late night performance to be announced. “OH MY GOD. TBA. Coachella. Sunday night,” Fred again.. wrote on Instagram last night alongside a screenshot of the trio on Facetime.
“I didn’t think I was gonna be back with my brothers like this for a longgggg time. Until last night. And here we are. We’ve seen all your lovely messages. I so appreciate you guys. Let’s have an absolute TIME,” he said.
Skrillex and Four Tet revealed the news at the same time with photos of the previously unannounced line-up. They’ll take over the Coachella stage shortly after Blink 182, who were added as a replacement headliner earlier this week following Frank Ocean’s drop out.

According to Billboard, sources close to the festival said that the trio will play in the round on the satellite stage of Coahcella’s main stage, which was previously built as an ice rink for Frank Ocean’s set, but wasn’t used.
Skrillex, Four Tet and Fred again.. most recently collaborated on the new track ‘Baby again..’, which landed earlier in March. Four Tet also revealed this week that he's started work on his first record under the alias in three years.
